Bandit Australian Cattle Mix Puppy Adoption Happy Ending

When you adopt a pet, you are saving a life.   We love sharing happy stories of owners and their rescued dogs.  Katy  shared her pet adoption story of  of 1.5 year old Bandit an  Australian cattle dog mix who she adopted from Humane Society  of Greater Nashua.    Katy was  looking to adopt  a new pet after her  old dog went over the rainbow bridge.   Once you are a dog owner, you will probably always be a dog owner.

She is the most affectionate dog I have ever met – in fact, on the day I went to the shelter to look at her, she only wanted to be held and allowed to give those wonderful sharp-toothed puppy “kisses.” She’s the friendliest dog I’ve ever known, unless you’re wearing work boots or a hat. Then she needs to size you up a bit. Eager to please and be loved, and always up for a good game of fetch, whether it’s a ball or a stick or whatever she finds in the yard for you to toss. Our old dog will forever have a place in our hearts, but Bandit has filled the rest of the space very well.
