Guide dogs and family pets are welcome! Even if you don’t have a dog, we’d love for you to join us. Create a team to celebrate your family, motivate some friends to get active, or join a team with colleagues or staff. Don’t feel like walking? The day will include food, music, and lots of activities to keep the kids busy while the adults catch up after the long winter.The Walk for INDEPENDENCE is a great way to re-connect with friends and raise much needed funds to support The Carroll Center for the Blind. –

Coalition for Animals Pet Fest & Walk for Animals 2017 in New Bedford MA

The Coalition for Animals  will be hosting  the 18th Annual Pet Fest and Walk for Animals on Sunday  May 21st 2017   11:00 am. to 3:00 pm at Buttonwood Park in New Bedford MA newbedford

The 18th Annual Pet Fest & Walk for Animals. Its a rain or shine event ! An average of 50 booths with entertainment, Doggie Fashion Show, New England Reptile and Raptor Birds of Prey Show, NB K-9 Unit Demo and dog training demos by Harmonious Hounds . Have partnered with Down to Earth Natural Foods’ Future of Health Expo for People and Pets ! There will be Food and Vitamin Demos, Holistic Practitioners, Message Therapist and Rock Climbing Tower (weather permitting) and free sampling and great give a ways !

Since 1999, the Coalition for Animals of Greater New Bedford is an all volunteer non-profit charitable organization of individuals and local animal groups dedicated to helping animals.

PAWS New England 5k Fun Run 2017

The  4th  annual Paws New England 5k/fun run will be held on Sunday May 21st  at 9am-12pm at Byam Elementary School in Chelmsford, MA and onto Bruce Freeman Rail . Run it, walk it, come to cheer people on and raise funds! Race Registration is $30.00 per walker and runner

All dogs are welcome at this event to socialize and run/walk with their owners, but please remember to pick-up after your pooch. There will be disposal bags if you forgot your own. There will also be some water stops along the way for Runners and dogs.PAWS New England 5k Fun Run 2016

PAWS New England a non-profit all breed dog rescue group. PAWS rescues abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs from high kill shelters and desperate situations, provides them with veterinary care and much needed TLC, and brings them to New England where they are placed in safe loving homes. Come visit them Race Day and meet some furry friends that are looking for forever homes. Perhaps you may go home with an extra family member?
