Pooch-a-Palooza is an outdoor music and dog festival on Saturday June 22 & Sunday June 23, 2013 from 10am-7pm This dog friendly event is being held at Prowse Farm in Canton, MA; the same location as the popular Life is Good Festival. Over 10,000 people are expected to attend the two day festival, which will help to raise money for a local dog related charities.
Pooch-A-Palooza will include: – Popular staged music performances for children and adults – A microbrew beer garden with the most popular brands across New England – Cuisine from the most popular local food trucks – A large interactive children’s area including activities, crafts, inflatables, games and more – Fun dog related activities and entertainment – A large marketplace for goods and services appealing to dog owners, families and young adults Please mark your calendars for June 22 & 23, 2013 and don’t miss out on the opportunity to target over 1,000,000 young adults and families across New England!
We encourage dog owners to bring their pups! We welcome well-trained socialized dogs to the festival. Dogs will not be turned away unless they shows signs of aggressive or dangerous behavior. If the dog owner does not adhere to the guidelines we have set forth, we reserve the right to discharge you and your dog from the event. Please remember:
- All dogs must be leashed/tethered while on any festival grounds. Leashes/tethers cannot exceed 6 feet.
• Owners must dispose of all waste immediately. Doggie bags will be available to do so.
• One dog allowed per handler at all times.
• On the Avenue Marketing Group, nor Pooch-A-Palooza will be responsible for lost or stolen pets.
• Owners must be attentive to and cautious of their dog(s) interacting with children and other dogs.
• Dog owners must report any incidents to First Aid immediately.
• All dogs must have proof of all required vaccinations.
• Upon entering the festival, dog owner assumes full and total liability for any and all damages including, but not limited to, injury to a person, property, or other dog.

Paws for Celebration 2013 in Orleans MA

The third annual “Paws for Celebration” will be on Saturday, June 22 2013 from 11am -3pm at Nauset Regional Middle School in Orleans MA on Cape Cod to benefit the Animal Rescue League of Boston Brewster branch.
The event for people and pooches includes tons of pet-related activities, entertainment and contests, and a pledge walk through downtown Orleans. It’s a fun day out for all the family – including your dog!
Event highlights include:
- Contests – Dog/Owner Look-A-Like, Waggiest Tail and more!

The 6th annual Whisker Walk will be held on Sunday June 9th 2013 from 11am-3pm at the Lancaster Fairground (Home of the Bolton Fair) there are 50+ acres for Pet owners and animal lovers to walk, visit vendors, see, do and buy PLUS they can lend a paw for the animals shelters and pet rescues they love and support!

Opened in 2008, Pilgrim Bark Park is located on an acre of land where dogs can run free and socialize off leash. To reflect the town’s rich appreciation for the arts, local artists designed benches (including a small-scale version of the Pilgrims’ Mayflower ship), poop bag stations, kiosks, signage and a super-sized doghouse at the park’s entrance. Anchored by a bronze whale’s tail sculpture is a memorial section. Three fire hydrants painted to look like canine versions of Provincetown’s police officers, firefighters and public workers sit sentry outside the park.
