Small Doggy Playdates at Meadows Pet Resort in Holliston MA

Small Doggy Playdates is conveniently held at The Meadows Pet Resort and Spa in Holliston, 140 Summer Street. We meet mostly every 3rd Sunday of the month, 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm.

The Meadows is a multi-million dollar pet resort. The resort provides us with a large, clean indoor room with windows, chairs, water bowls, and plenty of room for our small dogs to play and socialize. Your dog can run around and play with others, off leash, in a safe environment.

• All small and toy breeds are welcome. We look forward to having owners of FRIENDLY, EASY-GOING small dogs (under 20 lbs), with GOOD DOGGY MANNERS come play and make new friends. Please be sure your small dog(s) is healthy, clean, spayed or neutered, flea-free, and up-to-date with shots. If your pup(s) shows aggression or excessively barks towards others, you may be asked to leave.

• Due to the increase in participation at our PlayDates in Holliston, parking has become limited. The Holliston Meadows staff has asked us to please park directly across the street at Fatima Shrine where there is ample FREE parking for all.

• To be sure there is enough seating, feel free to bring your own folding chair.

• Due to some food allergy-prone dogs, please refrain from feeding your dog treats or snacks during the PlayDate. Their Moms and Dads will greatly appreciate this.

Friends of Taunton Animal Shelter Woof Walk 2015 in Dighton MA

The Friends of the Taunton Animal Care Facility will be holding their 2nd Annual Woof Walk on September  20, 2015 at Araujo Farms, 1522 Williams St, Dighton from 11AM – 3PM. 

The first 100 walkers to pre-register will receive a t-shirt. If you would like to pre-register, please do so at http://weblink.donorperfect.com/woofwalkregister. There is a $25.00 walker Registration Fee… Woof Photos, Face Painting, K-9 Demos, Rescue Groups/Vendors, raffles and more!

Dog Day at Fenway Park 2015

Dog Day at Fenway Park will be held on Monday  June 29, 2015  5:30 PM to 8:30 PM   Admission: $10 adults; Under 14 & dogs are FREE! 

Fenway Park is going to the dogs! Attendees are invited to being their dogs for a lap around the warning track. The Green Monster will be available for pictures at the home and visitor’s dugouts. The Gate E concourse will have a dog park set up with activities and water bowls.

Paws at Silko Hondo Adoption Expo 2015 in Raynham MA

Silko Honda  and the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts would like to once again present “Paws at Silko” pet adoption expo, Saturday, June 20th from 12 – 4 pm at Silko Honda on RT 44 in Raynham.

The goal of this event is to help local homeless pets find a lifelong, loving home. All pets adopted at the dealership will be up to date on shots. Raffles and prizes are also available with all proceeds benefiting the APCSM.

Silko Honda will donate $10 to the APCSM for every test drive completed on Saturday, June 20th from 9am – 4pm in conjunction with our 4th Annual Paws at Silko Adoption Expo held at our dealership located at 1580 New State Hwy, Rt 44, Raynham.

Barks & Bagels Spring 2015 at Boston Common Frog Pond

Dogs have been barking across town about our Barks and Bagels event on Saturday  June 6th 8-10:30am at Boston Common Frog Pond.   It will include Dog licensing, micro-chipping and treats for dogs and their owners.

Join us alongside our wonderful sponsors for a barkin’ good time with man’s, woman’s and the city’s best friends!

The event will be generously sponsored by The Friends of the Public Garden, Boston Parks and Recreation Department Animal Rescue League of Boston, MSPCA-Angell, The Skating Club of Boston , Kurgo and The Fish & Bone.
