The Bass Pro Shops will be hosting Dog Days Event in their Foxboro MA stop at the Patriot Place on Friday March 6th, Saturday March 7th and Friday march 13th and Saturday March 14th 

The seminar schedule is:
Friday March 6th  and March 13th
6:00 PM SOCIALIZING AND CRATE TRAINING YOUR DOG
Saturday  March 7th  and March 14th
11:00 AM TEACHING YOUR PUPPY TO SIT AND HEEL
2:00 PM KEEPING YOUR DOG SAFE IN THE OUTDOORS

Starting at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 7th and 14th , the first 100 customers to attend this event will receive a FREE DOGGIE GIFT BAG.

We’ll have drawings for a chance to win 1 of 3 great prizes.

MSPCA’s Run Fur Fun 2015

The MSPCA’s Run Fur Fun  is a family and dog friendly 5K in Brighton that will be held  on  Saturday  April 4th  10am at   DCR Artesani Park, Brighton, MA.   Join us as we Run Fur Fun, and raise funds to save lives! Register today to participate in this fun run with or without your canine. This flat, family and furry-friendly course is a great way to support animals in need, and meet other animals lovers and their four-legged friends. Start a team, encourage your friends, family and fellow animal lovers to join you, or support you as a sponsor.

More animals than ever are in need of our help, and every dollar raised helps to support injured, abused and homeless animals in Massachusetts.

Course Description: The course is a flat, family and furry-friendly course starting at Artesani Park and running along the Charles River with no road crossings. See a course map here.

Dogs: This is a race you can do with your dog!  Please see the rules for running with your dog. Also, please make sure your dog is trained adequately. Only one dog per runner.

APCSM Low Cost Rabies Vaccination Clinic March 2015 in Brockton MA

Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts will be holding  a low cost rabies vaccinations will be available to cats and dogs for $10 on Sunday March 29th  from 9-12pm.   Rabies vaccinations are required by Massachusetts state law and are an essential part of keeping pets and their people healthy and safe.
We will also offer microchips for $25, chip registration included. A pet with a microchip and up to date registration info is far more likely to be reunited with its owner if lost. This is an easy way to keep your pet safe!

All dogs must be on leash (no flexi-leads, please!) and cats in secure carriers.

Animal Rescue League of Boston Paws in the Park 2015 in Brewster MA

The Animal Rescue League of Bostons (ARL) Paws in the Park 2015 will take place on Saturday, May 30,  11 AM­ -3 PM, at Drummer Boy Park in Brewster. Paws in the Park is the ARL’s signature annual event on Cape Cod and one of the largest dog-friendly pet festi­vals in the area. All proceeds from the event benefit the ARLs Brew­ster Animal Shelter. ­For the ARL, Paws in the Park is a chance  kick off the summer season on the Cape and celebrate the relationship between people and their pets.

Last year, Paws in the Park drew more than 1,000 people and their pets to the event. The festival-like atmosphere at Paws featured family- and pet friendly activities, entertainment, contests, and shopping.  $5 admission fee for adults, FREE for children 12 years and under.

PAWS New England 5k Fun Run 2015

The   2nd annual  Paws New England  5k/fun run will be held on Sunday May 17th at 2pm at   Byam Elementary School in Chelmsford, MA and onto  Bruce Freeman Rail  .  Run it, walk it, come to cheer people on and raise funds!    Race Registration is $30.00 per walker and runner

All dogs are welcome at this event to socialize and run/walk with their owners, but please remember to pick-up after your pooch. There will be disposal bags if you forgot your own. There will also be some water stops along the way for Runners and dogs.

PAWS New England a non-profit all breed dog rescue group. PAWS rescues abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs from high kill shelters and desperate situations, provides them with veterinary care and much needed TLC, and brings them to New England where they are placed in safe loving homes. Come visit them Race Day and meet some furry friends that are looking for forever homes. Perhaps you may go home with an extra family member?
