Dogs in costume will receive an extra raffle ticket and have a chance to show off their costumes in our Doggy Costume Parade.

NOTE: This event is Family Friendly. All friendly well behaved dogs (and adult humans) welcome on the outdoor patio. Dogs must remain leashed at all times.

Doggone Halloween Costume Parade 2017 in Downtown Boston

The 4th Annual Doggone Halloween Costume Parade sponsored by the Downtown Boston BID is going to be a gggrrrrreaat time for canines and humans! The parade is on Friday, October 27th from noon to 2 pm. This event is being cosponsored by MSPCA-Angell.
This year’s event will be on Summer Street between Washington and Hawley streets.

All well-behaved dogs (and their owners) are welcome to enter the costume contest — it’s free to enter! Every dog will receive a prize for entering the contest. Judges will award special prizes for Best Costume, Scariest Costume, Best Human and Dog Duo Costume and Most Creative Costume.

Please bring your dog on leash and only bring dogs who can get along with other dogs and be OK with a crowd. Please encourage your dog to use the bathroom before the event. This event will be in a fenced off area.

Abington Dog Park Costume Contest 2017

The Abington Dog Park Committee is  hosting its 2nd annual Canine Costume Contest on Sunday October 15th 12-4pm at the Frolio  School.    The event is part of the townwide Oktoberfest which will be taking place the entire weekend. Our family- and dog-friendly-event will take place on the lawn in front of Frolio school. There also will be family activities (games, petting zoo, bouncy house, etc), a German band and a beer tent included in the event. It was a great time, and a great fundraiser for the park!

Abington Dog Park Costume Contest 2017

We’ll have multiple prizes for best costumed pups ($3 to enter), as well as a Best Dressed Stuffed Dog contest for kids 12 and under ($1). Kids’ contest at 2, and pup contest at 3.

Bear’s Bonz and Salty Threads will be with us selling dog treats and handmade pup accessories. We’ll also have plenty of raffle items.

We’ll also be taking orders for commemorative bricks, which can be engraved with the text of your choice. The bricks will line a walkway at the dog park. Payment can be made by cash or check for two sizes of bricks: 4×8 for $100 and 8×8 for $250.

Halloween Canine Promenade on the Charles River Esplande 2017 in Boston MA

The annual Canine Promenade on the Esplanade – doggie Halloween parade and costume contest  will be  held on  Sunday, October 22 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Fiedler Field on the Esplanade.


Doggie Halloween parade and costume contest, as well as festival with a variety of dog-related vendors including: Pawsh Dog Boutique, MSPCA, 2 Dogs Treats, Sun Dog Snacks, Red Dog, Boston Vet Clinic, Elliot’s House, Boston Animal Hospital, Lina Kriva and more!

The Canine Promenade benefits the Esplanade, highlights the park as a resource for dog owners and raises awareness about park improvements. In the spirit of the season, we encourage you to dress up your dogs (and yourself) in costume.

Come to  Faneuil Hall Ma! Dress up your pet and parade around Faneuil Hall Marketplace then Halloween Pet Parade at Faneuil Hall 2017 in Boston MAwalk the red carpet in front of a panel of judges! Prizes are awarded for Top 3 Best of Show, Best Owner & Pet Combo, Best Local Representation and Most Creative. Registration for the costume contest is required ahead of time. The parade starts promptly at 12:00 pm and continues right into the costume contest.
