Plymouth Pet Expo Spring 2016

Update 2/22/16
The 2016 Plymouth Pet Expo has been postponed. We are looking to push it back until Spring 2017.
Our goal was to create an amazing event for both the vendors and the patrons that would be in attendance. Due to a number of issues we foresee, it would be negligent on our part to push forward on our 2016 date as we feel it would be a disservice to our vendors and attendees.
As we look forward to 2017, we hope to gain more support from vendors within our region. Without the vendors, we would be limited to how much entertainment and attractions we can add to the show.
Our philosophy is go big or go home. We will not hold a show unless we know in our hearts that it will be an unforgettable experience for all.
As we are disappointed in our decision, we will push forward and hope to gain more support for 2017 from the community, local businesses and prospective vendors.

If you are looking for a pet friendly event still in the Plymouth area check out Bark in the Park on May 14th

Mark your calendars for Plymouth Pet Expo at the South Shore Expo Center on   Friday April  22  to Sunday  April  24, 2016 to help benefit Homeless pets
Plymouth Pet Expo Spring 2016

The Plymouth Pet Expo will have over 100 vendors showing off their products and services, giving out samples & coupons. Beyond that, we are taking it to another level by the creation of the Plymouth Pet Expo Adoption Center! Here you will see a dedicated section of the show where you can have the opportunity to meet with your potential future companion, have private time with them within the adoption center’s leash free zone and discuss the adoption process with the various rescues & shelters that will be present. Today, we have the issue of way too many pets out there without their forever home. At the Plymouth Pet Expo, we hope to put a dent into this growing issue as it is part of out mission. Oh yeah, there will be plenty of family fun entertainment!

N.A.D.R.A. (North American Dog Racing Association) was founded by Ken Scarnegie in 1989. It all started with a handful of Canadian and American dog trainers that decided that there was much more fun stuff to do with their dogs than just play fetch. Soon afterward, many games and dog sport events were compiled to make up a funny but competitive stage show. The credo of the organization was “To fill your dogs lives with as much fun and love as you can.” Hence, the Classic K-9 Show was born.

What to expect:

Dog agility to music, High jump performances, and even take a shot at a Guinness World Record! Also a dress up your pet and stupid pet tricks contest!

The South Shore Dog Lovers Pack Walk Meetups

The South Shore Dog Lovers Pack Walk   are focused on bringing our canine pals together in their most natural state – in a pack. We walk our dogs in local parks and trails so they can enjoy the outdoors while making new friends.

We have repeated walks at Bare Cove (Hingham) for the “northern” South Shore residents, and at Burrage Pond (Hanson) and Ellisville (Plymouth) for the “southern” South Shore residents. We also sporadically have walks in other locations. Walks range from easy, paved trails to more rugged hiking trails. Suggestions are welcome, and if anyone would like to host a walk, we would love to have you!

Best of all, all of our Meetups are FREE!

So, all friendly pups and their owners, come join us on our walks for exercise, socialization and some fresh air.

Remember – A tired dog is a well behaved dog.

Here are some of their upcoming walks-please RSVP
