Guide dogs and family pets are welcome! Even if you don’t have a dog, we’d love for you to join us. Create a team to celebrate your family, motivate some friends to get active, or join a team with colleagues or staff. Don’t feel like walking? The day will include food, music, and lots of activities to keep the kids busy while the adults catch up after the long winter.The Walk for INDEPENDENCE is a great way to re-connect with friends and raise much needed funds to support The Carroll Center for the Blind. –

Tailwaggerz Foster Fundraiser Luau Newton MA

Tailwaggerz Pet Care  of Newton MA is hosting a Luau Fundraiser at the Newton Yacht Club on Saturday August 27th 5-10pm .  Last Hope K9 Rescue and Pug Rescue of N.E. will be joining  the  second annual Foster fundraiser.  Make sure your check out the Dog owners survey to earn amazon gift cards Tailwaggerz Foster Fundraiser Luau Newton MA

They  have teamed up with Last Hope and P.R.O.N.E. to raise money for our Foster dogs as well as theirs.
50% of proceeds will go to Tail Waggerz Foster dogs medical and housing expenses and 25% will go to Last Hope and 25% to P.R.O.N.E.
This year’s party will be a LUAU! We will have raffles, auction items, dancing, yummy food and a cash bar!

Fee: Tail Waggerz will not be charging PRoNE for these Meetups; suggested donation to Pug Rescue of New England $5

Nail Trimming: We will have a nail trimming signup sheet at the beginning of each Meetup and Tail Waggerz will offer this service in parallel with the Meetup for a $10 fee.

In honor of our FIRST Meetup Tail Waggerz will offer 20% off store wide to our Meetup attendees on May 7th. (some exclusions may apply)

We are VERY excited for our new time and location and limiting our attendees will make for a more enjoyable and safe experience for our pugs. PLEASE RSVP for attending PUGS only not humans. (Example I have 3 pugs attending along with my husband and myself my RSVP # would be 3) If you are unable to attend please change your response so another pug may participate. If you are unable to attend this meetup but plan on attending future meetups we encourage you to get submit your forms so they are on file.

Tail Waggerz is a doggie camp-like experience. Lots of running and playing, lots of space, lots of good pals and NO CAGES! They proudly to offer over 10,000 square feet of doggie fun! They also offer CRATE FREE BOARDING, full service grooming, obedience training (both one on one and group classes), and retail.

Dan Rea, veteran Boston television journalist and Host of NightSide on WBZ NewsRadio 1030, will be joining us as this year’s emcee! Dan is a Newton native, a friend to the blindness community, and a well-known dog lover!
There is a one-mile walk around the neighborhood with guide dogs and family pets, followed by a cookout, bake sale, agility dog demonstration, K9 demonstration and puppy kissing booth. Plus lots of games and activities including beepball, beepsoccer, scavenger hunt, balloon animals, face painting, Giant Jenga, touch a fire truck, putt putt and lots more.

Canines for Carroll Walk 2015 in Newton MA

Please join us at our 3rd Annual Canines for Carroll Walk to benefit The Carroll Center for the Blind on Sunday April 26th from 10am-1pm in Newton 

Service dogs and family pets are welcome! Even if you don’t have a dog, we’d love for you to join us. Create a team to celebrate your family, motivate some friends to get active, or join a team with colleagues or staff. There are two canine walk routes – a one-mile walk and a two-mile walk.

Don’t feel like walking? A Family Fair at the end will keep kids busy while the grownups catch up after the long winter. Activities will include photo booth, face painting, blind putting tee, beep ball batting practice, children’s obstacle course, guide dog demonstrations, and K9 police demonstrations. Local pet stores and veterinarians will also be on hand with free giveaways.

The Canines for Carroll Walk & Family Fair is a great way to re-connect with friends, visit with your favorite Carroll Center staff, and support The Carroll Center for the Blind.
