Abington Dog Park Costume Contest 2017

The Abington Dog Park Committee is  hosting its 2nd annual Canine Costume Contest on Sunday October 15th 12-4pm at the Frolio  School.    The event is part of the townwide Oktoberfest which will be taking place the entire weekend. Our family- and dog-friendly-event will take place on the lawn in front of Frolio school. There also will be family activities (games, petting zoo, bouncy house, etc), a German band and a beer tent included in the event. It was a great time, and a great fundraiser for the park!

We’ll have multiple prizes for best costumed pups ($3 to enter), as well as a Best Dressed Stuffed Dog contest for kids 12 and under ($1). Kids’ contest at 2, and pup contest at 3.

Bear’s Bonz and Salty Threads will be with us selling dog treats and handmade pup accessories. We’ll also have plenty of raffle items.

We’ll also be taking orders for commemorative bricks, which can be engraved with the text of your choice. The bricks will line a walkway at the dog park. Payment can be made by cash or check for two sizes of bricks: 4×8 for $100 and 8×8 for $250.

Scituate Animal Shelter 25th Anniversary Celebration 2017

Scituate Animal Shelter will be celebrating their   25th Anniversary with on Sunday, June 25th, 2017. There will be live music, a DJ, face painting, a food truck, Shelter tours, great raffle prizes, a K9 demo and much more! Plus, the winners of our photo contest will be announced. Don’t miss the fun! 12:00-3:30.

Bark in the Park 2017 at Nelson Park Plymouth MA

Due to the rain and potential flooding, we have rescheduled Bark in the Park and the Run, Walk & Wag for SUNDAY, MAY 7 at 10 am – 4 pm

All times and activities will be the same.

Bark in the Park is the ultimate fun filled day for pet lovers and a day packed with loads of excitement for our furry friends! Event activities include pet related vendors & non-profit organizations, food vendors for both dogs and people alike, live entertainment, adoption parade, rabies vaccine, Police k-9 demonstration, agility demos, blessing of the dogs and so much more!



Fetch your sneakers and your furry friend for a Run, Walk, Wag scheduled for 10 am along Plymouth’s beautiful Rail Trail. Join your fellow dog lovers for this 2-mile jaunt. Race will begin at 10 am and number pick up and registration begins at 9:15 am.
Entry fee of $15 & includes a bandana for your pooch.

Quincy Animal Shelter Cause for Paws 2016

Quincy Animal Shelter’s 8th Annual 5K Run & 1-Mile Walk will be held on Sunday October 16th  9am to 1pm at  Squantum Point Park. This family and dog-friendly event will be emceed by FOX25’s Heather Hegedus, and will include fun activities for all ages, including

APCSM Paws in the Park Dog Walk 2016 in Easton MA

The Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts (APCSM) ,will be hosting the  8th annual “Paws in the Park” celebration and fundraiser at the NRT of Easton’s Sheep Pasture on Sunday September 18th at 10am  Make sure your check out the Dog owners survey to earn amazon gift cards APCSM Paws in the Park Dog Walk 2016 in Easton MA

. In addition to a walk, this event will include activities including raffles, a bake sale, a variety of pet & family friendly items for sale, snacks & beverages and games for our many supporters and their four-legged friends to enjoy.

Register today and start raising money! Create a fundraising page and ask friends, family and neighbors to sponsor you. Or better yet, put together a team and raise even more money to help the animals! Pre-register on-line or in person at the shelter for $20 and receive a free Walk t-shirt at the event. Registration the day of will be $25.
